Coming up on Earth Day, 22nd April.
A participatory conference in Belfast to explore “An Economy of Enough in a Time of Crisis and Opportunity.” Building on recent conversations emerging from the Season of Creation and international dialogue within Economy of Francesco, the gathering will create space for shared reflection on how our economic choices can foster peace, social justice and care for the planet.
Experts include Lorna Gold, Director of Laudato Si’ International who will take part in a World Café–style process where participants engage directly with practitioners and innovators exploring alternative economic models — from wellbeing and communion-based economies to cooperatives, community energy and feminist economics.
Convened by Join the Dots Together in partnership with Queen’s University Belfast, the Economy of Francesco and other collaborators, the event aims to strengthen relationships across communities and inspire practical collaboration towards an economy that is truly “enough” for people and planet.
