Anna Louise Shepherd, from Creation Carers, First Portadown Presbyterian Church sent us this report:
Our group of Creation Carers celebrated our third birthday after a busy morning reaching out to several other churches to do a churches community lean up of the Edenderry area in Portadown. We met up for coffee and allocating areas and after 2 hours regrouped for soup, and birthday cake. It was good to meet up with other churches members and tell them about Eco-Congregation Ireland.

Creation Carers continues to maintain a roundabout in Portadown and we hope to reseed it with wildflowers again but hoping for more success this year! We are focusing on water this year and have speakers on water treatment coming and a talk on eco cleaning products that will reduce phosphate build up in Lough Neagh. Several of our churches youth organisations are also involved in helping to improve biodiversity. Our girls group made hedgehog houses for the local park and planted the churches window boxes with bulbs and spring flowers.
