Re-inhabiting the Earth conference ~ Drumalis, February 11-13 2011

Drumalis Environment Group is hosting a conference titled ‘Re-inhabiting the Earth’ in Drumalis Retreat and Conference Centre, Larne, Co Antrim from February 11-13 2011.

The conference will provide the opportunity to explore “Finding our Place … on earth, in time, in history,in community, under our feet. An opportunity to reconnect with our ‘place’ and deepen our awareness and responsibility for it.”

The keynote speaker will be Dr John Feehan, a senior lecturer in the UCD School of Biology and Environmental science. Other presenters during the weekend will be Alma Clavin (Leeds School of Architecture, Landscape and Design), Rita Harkin (Ulster Architectural Heritage Society). James Orr (Director, Friends of the Earth Northern Ireland) and Tony Weekes.

The weekend will be offered on either a fully residential (Fri-Sun, £75) or non-residential (Fri-Sun, £50) basis. It will also be possible to take part in “Finding our Place ” for Saturday only (£10)

A Creation Spirituality retreat will take place at Drumalis from July 13 – 18 2011 on the theme ‘The Universe – Mystery Unfolding’.
