Joe Furphy is an elder in Lowe Memorial Presbyterian Church, Finaghy, Belfast and is a member of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland Stewardship of Creation Panel. He is the PCI representative on Eco-Congregation Ireland. He is a retired environmentalist.
