Rev Richard Beadle, is a Church of Ireland minister living and serving on the Irish border in counties Fermanagh and Leitrim. Richard has created a new blog called ‘Fields of Treasure‘.
His blog explores thoughts about Treasure. Treasure is the Church’s fifth mark of mission: “To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth. Richard states ‘I’m not a conservation expert but I am trying to learn about the precious world around me where humans and creation interact’.

Richard shares ‘Psalm 24 verse 1 shares, “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it!” We have a responsibility to treasure and look after the creation that God has so wonderfully made. When we treat it as solely ours we ruin it. These photos are simply a reminder of the incredible variety of life that we take for granted on our doorstep, if only we would open our eyes’.
