The Church of Ireland’s Bishops’ Appeal for World Aid and Development is launching a Lent resource called “Connect4Creation”.
The focus is on bees, and people are encouraged to get out for a walk and spot some of the many of species of bees in Ireland as spring begins to arrive;
To encourage bees and other pollinators through planting pollinator friendly flowers, and making bee hotels;
To raise funds for a Christian Aid project in Zimbabwe which provides beehives for farmers and for reforestation
