We were delighted to have the ECI Climate Justice Candle as part of our remembrance prayer service on November 11th. It was the anniversary of the death of the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy: Catherine McAuley. She died on 11th November, 1841. We combined that commemoration with a prayer service remembering all those who have died in the past year. It was wonderful to have the ECI Climate Justice Candle as another light shining hope in our lives and in our world. Our Advent retreatants were also delighted to share in the light of the Climate Justice Candle, reminding of the star which featured in our retreat: Journeying with the Magi.
