South Belfast Quaker Meeting House Plants a Wildflower Border

Kerry Nicholson sent ECI this update:

In the Spring, at South Belfast Meeting House we cleared out one of our old flower beds along the side of the Meeting House. The shrubs had been there for several decades and were getting woody and old. We decided it was time for a refresh and a team of volunteers spent an afternoon digging out the bed. As a first step we planted some wildflower seeds. This has been a huge success this summer as you will see from the photo. We also installed a covered bicycle lockup to encourage more people to cycle on a Sunday morning, knowing their bike will be safe and also dry!
