On the 18th October Carrigaline Union of Parishes Eco Group joined with the Eco Group of St John’s church Carrigaline, to host a film night featuring the documentary “The Letter” ,which was commissioned by Pope Francis. Symbolically the film highlights the effects of climate change in different communities around the world. Ironically it was hosted the night of storm “Babet” and we were pleased with the hardy souls that turned up through the wind and rain to support it!

- This time of year it is important to carry out maintenance of wild flower and pollinator areas. Always remove cuttings from the wild flower area to reduce fertility (wildflowers grow best in less fertile soil).
